Dr. Lee Moore is a fellowship trained cornea specialist, performing premium cataract, cornea, and LASIK or PRK refractive surgeries. Dr. Moore treats a wide array of routine and complicated eye conditions. Having trained at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill and at the Dean McGee Eye Institute in Oklahoma City, Dr. Moore utilizes the latest surgical techniques and procedures performed in the country.
As a leading cataract surgeon, he has introduced to Central Mississippi the most advanced and sophisticated intraocular lens implants including the Light Adjustable Lens. For cornea surgery, he became the first in the state formally trained in various surgeries including cornea cross-linking for keratoconus and DMEK, the latest partial thickness cornea transplant operation for Fuchs' Dystrophy.
Originally from Memphis, Dr. Moore completed his medical degree at UMMC in Jackson. During that time he married his wife, Becky, a physician assistant who is a Mississippi native. They now live in Madison, where they are active in their church and community.
